Thimerosal

Since 1930s, Thimerosal is used as a preservative in several vaccines. Although, it contains 50 percent by weight, until recently, it was considered as safe. High level of exposure to mercury causes immune, behavioral, motor and neurological disorders. It is believed that Thimerosal in vaccine is associated with disorders like attention deficit disorder (ADD), autism and speech and development disorders. Currently, FDA is working to remove vaccine form of Thimerosal from the United States.
