Reglan

Reglan, also known as Metoclopramide is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders like Gastro esophageal Reflux Disorder (GERD). It increases the movement of stomach muscles, thus the rate at which the material transforms from stomach to large intestine  also increases. The use of this drug causes a serious disorder called Tardive dyskinesia. Tardive dyskinesia is characterized by regular, involuntary movements of extremities.
