According to the study conducted by National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, accidents at constructional sites cause the largest no. of injuries to workers as compared to any other industry.

Electrocutions, falls and strikes from outside objects are some of the common constructional accidents. According to Department of Labor, workers of the age between 25 to 35 years are more likely to be injured in accidents. However, states are enforcing rigid laws to protect the workers from accidents but it is impossible to prevent all the constructional accidents. Non-fatal accidents include burns, broken bones and other injuries. Even such injuries make it difficult for the workers to resume the work.
